Spiritual, emotional, and financial health also contribute to overall health. Medical experts have linked these to lower stress levels and improved mental and physical well-being.

People with better financial health, for example, may worry less about finances and have the means to buy fresh food more regularly. Those with good spiritual health may feel a sense of calm and purpose that fuels good mental health.

A person who has good physical health is likely to have bodily functions and processes working at their peak.

This is not only due not only to an absence of disease. Regular exercise, balanced nutrition, and adequate rest all contribute to good health. People receive medical treatment to maintain the balance, when necessary.

Physical well-being involves pursuing a healthful lifestyle to decrease the risk of disease. Maintaining physical fitness, for example, can protect and develop the endurance of a person’s breathing and heart function, muscular strength, flexibility, and body composition.

Education is both the act of teaching knowledge to others and the act of receiving knowledge from someone else. Education also refers to the knowledge received through schooling or instruction and to the institution of teaching as a whole. Education has a few other senses as a noun.

Education is a word that covers both the act of instructing and the act of learning. It usually refers specifically to the teaching of children or younger people and the learning done by them.

Education enables upward socioeconomic mobility and is a key to escaping poverty. Over the past decade, major progress was made towards increasing access to education and school enrollment rates at all levels, particularly for girls. Nevertheless, about 260 million children were still out of school in 2018 — nearly one fifth of the global population in that age group. And more than half of all children and adolescents worldwide are not meeting minimum proficiency standards in reading and mathematics.

A diet rich in vegetables and fruits can lower blood pressure, reduce the risk of heart disease and stroke, prevent some types of cancer, lower risk of eye and digestive problems, and have a positive effect upon blood sugar, which can help keep appetite in check. Eating non-starchy vegetables and fruits like apples, pears, and green leafy vegetables may even promote weight loss. Their low glycemic loads prevent blood sugar spikes that can increase hunger.

At least nine different families of fruits and vegetables exist, each with potentially hundreds of different plant compounds that are beneficial to health. Eat a variety of types and colors of produce in order to give your body the mix of nutrients it needs. This not only ensures a greater diversity of beneficial plant chemicals but also creates eye-appealing meals.

In an interview with Freddie S. Panugao, a rice farmer in Brgy. Rang-ay, Banaybanay, Davao Oriental, he spent around P1,450 to buy 70 kg- rice seeds for a hectare.

“Bug-at na gyud na nga amount ilabi na nga mubo na kaayo ang presyo sa humay dinhi, gikan P26 per kilo to P15 per kilo,” shared Freddie.

But rice farmers like Freddie will never worry about quality rice seeds for this cropping season. From December 4-6, the Department of Agriculture XI- Rice Program together with PhilRice will be distributing 2,029 bags (20 kg/bag) quality rice seeds FOR FREE to our rice farmers in Banaybanay in cooperation with LGU-Banaybanay and the Municipal Agriculture Office.

The seed distribution is part of the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (RCEF) which also includes support in mechanization and access to training and loan, created as safety nets for our rice farmers affected by Rice Tariffication Law.

Farmers should be registered in RSBSA or Registry System for Basic Sectors in Agriculture (they can register at their City/Municipal Agriculture Office} to avail the seeds.

“Dako na kaayo ni nga tabang kanamong mga rice farmers kay kanang P1,450 mapalit na namo na ug igong supurta sa among farm ug pamilya,” Freddie said.

Same activity will be conducted among rice-growing areas in Davao region. Kudos to LGU-Banaybanay Mayor Adalia Caballero Lopez and the Municipal Agriculture Office headed by MAO Ester Mante Solamo and rice coordinator Vince Caminero and staff for a very organized distribution making it hassle-free for our unsung heroes.| via Celso Campos Vergara and Janelle Tabalina Floress, RAFIS11

Although many of us have been “tourists” at some point in our lives, defining what tourism actually is can be difficult. Tourism is the activities of people traveling to and staying in places outside their usual environment for leisure, business or other purposes for not more than one consecutive year.

Tourism is a dynamic and competitive industry that requires the ability to adapt constantly to customers’ changing needs and desires, as the customer’s satisfaction, safety and enjoyment are particularly the focus of tourism businesses.

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Ut elit tellus, luctus nec ullamcorper mThere are different ways to measure the size of the tourism industry, as tourism does not conform to the usual ways that industries are defined, such as manufacturing, forestry and other industries. Tourism constitutes a wide variety of sectors that provide diverse products and services to visitors. However, these businesses also provide products and services to local residents.attis, pulvinar dapibus leo.

Feeding Program http://banaybanay.gov.ph/feeding-program/ http://banaybanay.gov.ph/feeding-program/#respond Mon, 24 Jan 2022 05:57:48 +0000 https://banaybanay.gov.ph/?p=594

Before anything else, let us discuss the general and most common term used — feeding program — to get to know more about our initiative. Feeding programs basically involve delivering or providing a meal or snack to beneficiaries, most of the time children, and are often done in a specified time. Most non-government organizations or even institutions hold feeding programs to better address the scarcity of nutritious food available to children. This has been one of the efforts being done by organizations, individuals, and communities alike to address the problem of malnutrition and food insecurity.

Feeding programs are deemed important because these are among the efforts done to address the prominent problem of malnutrition, hunger, and food insecurity here in our country. Also, these programs mostly aim to serve underprivileged individuals, especially children. Thus, feeding programs are important to provide care and basic necessity to those who need them the most.
