Yesterday a SEND OFF CEREMONY was held at Banaybanay Central Elementary School for the Athletes from Municipality of Banaybanay, Lupon, San Isidro and Governor Generoso for the DAVRAA 2024 to be held in Davao City with Mayor Ian Larcia, PSDS Vanessa Duot, Doc. Yvette Celmar, SB Member Kenneth Tagaro, Fr. Jojo Urbuda, District PESS Coordinator Rahyan Pugosa.

During the Send-off Ceremony Mayor Larcia promised the athletes that he will give 100,000.00 from Provincial Aid to add equipment to the lucrative sports field.

Mayor Larcia has a strong support when it comes to Sports because he is also an active when it comes to sports.

Last March 27, 2024 BALAI NG MANDAYA was formally turned over by Mayor Lemuel Ian M. Larcia with VM Liezel Teves , SB Members, BM Harold Montes, BM Daud Linsag, former BM Lito Macatabog , Cong. Nelson Boy Dayanghirang, NHA Region Xl, Municipal Engineering Office, Brgy. Council of Pintatagan and Mandaya Tribal Chieftain – Leonilo Pacay the 51 HOUSES of our IP brothers there in Purok 8, Sitio Mararag, Brgy. Pintatagan, Banaybanay Davao Oriental.

Mayor Larcia admitted that this project started during the time of former Mayor Ada. But if his current administration does not accelerate it, it may not be delayed. So, Mayor Larcia is still thankful for all the part of this Project especially to the Department Heads who have been part of this Project and to the IP Liaison Maam Rose Pacay together with Mandaya Tribal Chieftain – Leonilo Pacay.

Mayor Larcia is also very grateful to Cong. Nelson Boy Dayanghirang for his donation of 2.7M for the additional 9 houses of our Native Brothers to be exact 60 houses in BALAI NANG MANDAYA.

Engineer is still right. Merciful A. Dayot, they are happy with what Mayor Larcia did in Focusing on this Project Because in the whole Region XI the House of Mandaya in Banaybanay is the Quickest Completion and the Most Beautiful Plaster of All. NHA Region Xl also hopes that our Native Brothers will take care of this.

Gikan niadtong milabayng tuig nakig batok kitang tanan sa hagit sa pandemya sa COVID19, diin tibuok kalibutan ang na apektuhan hangtud karung mga orasa. Gumikan niini, apektado usab ang atong ekonomiya lakip na ang pag implementar sa uban natong mga programa ug proyekto tungod kay atong gi hatagan ug bug-os nga prayoridad ang kasegurugan ug kaayuhan sa atong mga katawhan. Apan kini nga hagit dili nato himuong rason nga dili mapadayun ang pagpa-abot sa atong pag panerbisyo kaninyu arun mapagaan ang krisis nga atong gi atubang sa pagka karun.

Buot nakong hatagan ug pasidungog ang tanang miyembro sa atong lokal nga task force sa COVID19 ilabi na sa atong Incident Management Team (IMT) nga gipanguluhan sa atong Incident Commander Kristopher Rey Alongo ug sa atong Municipal Health Officer (MHO) Dr. Nemesia M. Andoy uban sa iyang team nga adlaw ug gabie naka tutok sa atong sitwasyon ug pag responde batok sa COVID19. Sa tanan nga mga frontliners, gikan sa mga nagka daiyang barangay ug sa atong munisipyo dili ta mo maisa isa ug hinganlan, apan buot nakong ipaabot kaninyu ang akong kinasing- kasing nga pagpasalamat sa inyung pag suporta ug pag kooperar sa atong mga programa batok COVID19.

Sa pagka karun, aktibo natong ginahimo ang mass vaccination program sa atong Lungsod tungud kay kini lamang ang maka sulbad sa pandemya nga atong gi atubang sa pagka karun. Akong gi awhag ang tanan nga atong hatagan ug bug-os nga pagsalig ang atong gobyerno nga maoy nag latid ug mga programang pang seguridad natong tanan pinaagi sa programang Resbakuna sa Department of Health (DOH). Pinaagi niini, ug pinaagi sa inyung pagsalig ug kooperasyon, tim-os natong matagamtaman sa daling panahon ang kasulbaran sa krisis sa pandemya ug mabalik sa normal ang pagkinabuhi natong tanan.
