Banaybanay lies on the Southern portion of Davao Oriental between latitude of 6° 55’ -7° 04’ North and longitude of 125° 55’-126° 06’ East. It is bounded by Lupon on the Southeast, by Davao Gulf on the West and by Pantukan on the North. It is approximately 44 kilometers from Mati, the capital of Davao Oriental, 67 kilometers from Tagum, Davao del Sur and 122 kilometers from Davao City, the regional center of Region XI.
